Carol Roman’s letter (“Blame the media,” CDT, Wednesday) stated what has been said before: The media, the cowardly administration and the unjust merchants killed Joe Paterno’s name. Well, they tried.
What happened in State College will go down as one of the worst knee-jerk reactions of the century, and I believe Paterno’s name and reputation will be restored.
I would liked to see all Penn Staters everywhere join in a protest march at the NCAA headquarters and demand to see what proof they had to issue their draconian punishments.
