A Philipsburg man wanted after failing to show for a court hearing on charges he stole scrap metal has been taken back into custody.

The Clearfield County District Attorney’s office said this week that William Lamb Sr, 43, was arrested in Morrisdale earlier this month.

Lamb failed to appear for plea and sentencing court in October and a warrant was issued for his arrest, the district attorney’s office said.

He was charged in September 2011 with breaking into a home in Clearfield County and taking $2,800 with of metal.
