UNIVERSITY PARK – Maggie Lucas scored a career-high 39 points as No. 10 Penn State hammered Georgetown 97-74 on Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Lucas set a Jordan Center record with her total, breaking the mark of 38 set twice by Kelly Mazzante. Her seven 3-pointers also tied a Jordan Center mark. She outscored the entire Georgetown team with 26 points in the first half as the Lady Lions led 53-25 at the break.
Alex Bentley added 23 points for the Lady Lions (7-2). Nikki Greene had 13 rebounds.
Sugar Rodgers led the Hoyas (7-3) with 24 points.
