Published: December 10, 2012

The Pittsburgh Pirates and pitcher Jason Grilli have reportedly agreed on a two-year contract.

The Pittsburgh-Post Gazette reported the deal, which is pending a physical, on Monday.

The 36-year-old right-hander went 1-6 with a 2.91 ERA and two saves over 64 relief appearances for the Pirates last season.

A 10-year veteran who missed the entire 2010 season while recovering from right knee surgery, Grilli has a career 21-25 record with a 4.34 earned run average through 330 appearances (16 starts) with the Marlins, White Sox, Tigers, Rockies, Rangers and Pirates.
