Penn State junior guard Maggie Lucas picked up her second Big Ten Player of the Week award of the season after averaging 27.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 3.5 steals in a pair of games last week.
Lucas shares the award this week with Minnesota’s Rachel Banham. She broke a Bryce Jordan Center record with 39 points in a 97-74 win over Georgetown on Sunday. She also set a career high with six steals in that win. She scored 15 points in a 15-point loss to No. 2 Connecticut on Thursday.
Lucas leads the Big Ten with a 22.7 scoring average and 55 percent shooting from 3-point range.
