— At least one person was injured Thursday night after a car exiting U.S. Route 322 onto state Route 45 collided with a pickup truck.

The crash occurred at about 9:55 p.m. when a Toyota Supra failed to negotiate the exit ramp curve onto state Route 45 west, crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and hit the truck, said Sgt. Todd Scholton, of the State College police.

Boalsburg Fire Company firefighters cut away some of the Toyota to free the injured driver, who was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, Scholton said.

The driver’s identity and condition were not immediately available.

No passengers were in the car.

Scholton said the truck contained two unidentified people, but no information about whether they were injured or hospitalized was available.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
