From CDT staff reportsDecember 14, 2012

A man is in fair condition following a two-vehicle crash in Boalsburg late Thursday night, State College Police said.

Michael Hockenberry was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his Toyota Supra, crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming Ford pick-up truck, police said. The accident took place at about 10 p.m. on Earlystown Road near Ashworth Lane.

Hockenberry did not appear conscious at the scene and had to be cut from his vehicle, police said. He was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center then flown to Altoona Regional Health System.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured but the passenger suffered a laceration on her head and was bleeding “significantly,” police said.

She was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by ambulance.
