WINGATE — Marissa Ward (24) and Lexi Josefik (16) combined to outscore the entire Central team as they led unbeaten Bald Eagle Area to a 48-39 victory Friday.

Ward had an outstanding floor game with eight steals and six assists. Kaitlyn Miller grabbed 10 rebounds for the Lady Eagles (3-0).

“Our pressure defense made the difference,” said BEA coach Troy Butterworth, whose team outscored the Lady Dragons in each quarter. Taylor McKnight scored 20 for Central.
