A man threw an empty beer keg off a seventh-floor balcony early Saturday morning resulting in “extensive” damage to a Chevrolet Equinox, State College police said.
The incident occurred at the Palmerton, 316 W. Beaver Ave., at 12:55 a.m. The suspect is believed to be a Penn State student, and charges are pending based on a damage estimate to the vehicle, police said.
The hood, windshield and driver’s side door were damaged, and alcohol was a factor, police said,
The matter is still under investigation.
