RIDGWAY — Grace Young improved her previous season score by four points as she took the all-around crown to lead Bellefonte to a 123.55-104.5 victory over Ridgway on Saturday.

Young won the vault (8.7) and placed second in the uneven parallel bars, balance beam and floor exercise as the sophomore racked up 32.875 points for her first-ever all-around win. Courtney Frederick captured the bars (8.4) and floor exercise (8.7), while finishing second in the all-around (32.3). Olivia Williams won the beam (7.8).

“The girls did great job,” said Bellefonte coach Susan Besch, whose team improved to 1-1. “We took first second and third in every event.”
