LEWISBURG — Colton Schnars set a Bellefonte High School record in the 100-meter backstroke Saturday at the Kinney Invitational at Bucknell University.
Schnars, a sophomore, swam the 100-meter race in 55.75, good for fifth place and broke the mark of 55.94 he set as a freshman last season. Schnars also turned in a sixth-place finish in the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:07.46.
The Bellefonte team of Patrick Scordato, Grey Rockey, Matthew Horner and Schnars finished twelfth in the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:52.33.
