An 18-year-old Bellefonte man is charged with assaulting and severely injuring another man early Sunday in Millheim.

State police at Rockview said Derek Fetters attacked a 22-year-old Millheim man at about 4:30 a.m. in a parking area off Mills Street in Millheim borough.

Police said the two were involved in a confrontation at a party earlier Saturday evening.

Fetters was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment and was taken to Centre County Correctional Facility.

Police said the man he attacked suffered serious injuries, but did not provide additional details about his condition.
