BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte improved to 3-0 by defeating Tyrone 48-21 in a Mountain League dual meet Tuesday.

The Red Raiders won four of the five bouts decided by decision. Nick Shawley won the meet’s most closest bout as he edged Jared Beckwith 2-1 in a 182-pound matchup between returning PIAA qualifiers.

Trevor Corl defeated Jason Schopp 5-2 at 126, Nate Rosenberger handled Luke McCloskey 4-2 at 132 and Tanner Day earned a 5-2 victory over Aleic Hunter at 138. Corl, Rosenberger and Day are all sophomores.

Dillon Ault (145) and Austin Cable (160) collected falls for the Red Raiders. Bellefonte also received 24 points via four forfeits.
