Howard man injured in I-80 crash

A Howard man was injured after crashing his vehicle early Tuesday on Interstate 80 in Rush Township.

State police at Rockview said Jeremy Jones was traveling east on I-80 around 5:30 a.m. when his vehicle drifted off the road and struck a guide rail. His vehicle then spun, hitting an embankment on the right shoulder of the road.

Jones had to be cut from the vehicle by emergency responders. He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment of what police called moderate to severe injuries.
