BEA pins down Huntingdon

Bald Eagle Area used an impressive performance from its upperweights Tuesday night to defeat Huntingdon 39-27 and improve to 2-0.

The Eagles won every bout from 160 to 285 pounds, receiving falls from Ben Verbitskey (170), Jake Taylor (182), Aaron Varner (195), David Gawryla (220) and Nate Sharkey (285).

Michael Kachik (113), Travis Giedroc (120) and Mitchell Taylor (160) added decision victories. All three wrestlers won bouts decided by two points or less.

The meet included no forfeits.
