Penn State wrestlers Andrew and Dylan Alton were issued multiple citations following an altercation in Lock Haven early Friday morning, Lock Haven City Police said in a release.

The Altons, twins, were cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment after police responded to a disturbance in Jordan Alley near North Grove Street at 1:19 a.m. A male and female victim received minor injuries, police said.

Penn State wrestling sports information director Pat Donghia said the team is aware of the charges and said the team is awaiting further details surrounding the incident.

The Altons, both sophomores, could not be reached for comment.

Andrew Alton recently returned to the mat for the defending national champion Penn State wrestling team after missing the first month of the season with an injury. The brothers, both 21, are wrestling in the same lineup for the first time since they both wrestled for Central Mountain High School, where they earned reputations as two of the best college prospects in the country, with both being ranked among the Top 10 recruits at any weight.

Dylan Alton is 7-2 this season at 157 pounds following a third-place finish at the NCAA tournament last March at the same weight. Andrew Alton, who redshirted last season following a Round of 12 finish in the 20-10-11 NCAA tournament, is 8-0 this season with six of those wins coming by fall.

Combined, Andrew and Dylan Alton are 75-18 for Penn State over their careers.
