WILLIAMSBURG — Three Philipsburg-Osceola players scored in double figures as the Mounties defeated Williamsburg 66-57 in the opening round of the Williamsburg Tournament on Thursday.
Taylor Golemboski led the Mounties, who earned their first victory, with 18 points.
Matt Carpin and Eric Nartatez added 17 and 13 points, respectively. P-O pulled away by outscoring Williamsburg 17-10 in the fourth quarter.
Jed Dishong and Cody Palmer each scored 12 points for Williamsburg.
P-O (1-5) meets Central in tonights final at 7:30 p.m. tonight.
