CHAMBERSBURG — State College earned its first two victories of the season during Saturdays Dale Bock Duals.
The Little Lions defeated Southern Huntingdon 57-24 and Fairfield 46-34. The Little Lions fell to Chambersburg 58-15, Chestnut Ridge 42-39 and Bermudian Springs 58-24.
The dual against host Chambersburg served as a Mid-Penn meet for the Little Lions (2-8).
Anthony Meyers (113) and Derek Horner (145) went 4-1 for State College. Horner collected three pins and a technical fall. Myers had two pins, a technical fall and received a forfeit.
Junior Mike Kauffman went 3-1 in his season debut at 132 pounds. Kauffman, a returning state qualifier, missed the first three weeks of the season because of an injury. Kyle Catral (106) and J.B. Holden (138) each added three victories.
