BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte struggled early, scoring only 13 points in the first half as it fell to Williamsport 60-37 on Thursday.

Jess Book was the leading scorer for the Lady Red Raiders with 10 points, followed by Cassandra Book and Jess Caldana, who each scored nine and seven points, respectively.

“We got off to a slow start but the second half went very well,” Bellefonte coach Roger Hetro said. “I was very pleased with their efforts, the girls played hard.”
