PARK RIDGE, Ill. — Penn State’s Samantha Musto was named Freshman of the Week on Monday by the Big Ten.

In a meet against Denver and Lindenwood on Saturday, Musto finished fourth in the all-around while placing second on the uneven bars, sixth on the vault and tying for eighth in the floor exercise. She also was 15th on the balance beam.

Penn State visits Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.
