MARTINSBURG — Bellefonte scored just eight first-half points as it fell to Central 42-22 on Wednesday.

Cassandra Book led the Lady Red Raiders with 11 points. Jess Book added seven.

Ashley Smith hit two 3-pointers and led Central with a game-high 12 points.

“Despite the score, we did some things well,” Bellefonte coach Roger Herto said.

“We just continue to not shoot the ball well. Defensively, we have been doing OK. Until we get the ball to go into the hoop, it’s going to be an uphill battle.”
