Penn State football: Hodges, Stankiewitch selected to appear in East-West Shrine Game

— Penn State linebacker Gerald Hodges and center Matt Stankiewitch have been selected to participate in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 19 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Their selections increase the number of Nittany Lions participating in postseason games to seven.

Hodges started 25 games over two years, finisher fourth in the Big Ten with 109 tackles as a senior.

Stankiewitch also started 25 games over two years, helping the Nittany Lions average 437 yards per game in 2012.

The East-West will be televised by the NFL Network.
