SPRING MILLS — Penns Valley used a fast start on its way to a 44-23 victory over Clearfield on Friday.

The Rams, who fell at undefeated Bald Eagle Area and Bellwood-Antis earlier this week, led 15-5 after the first quarter and 22-12 entering halftime.

Luke Weaver led Penns Valley (7-3) with 12 points. Cameron Tobias added 11.

“It was a great end to a tough week,” Penns Valley coach Terry Glunt said. “I was really pleased with the defensive effort against a pretty solid offensive basketball team.”
