Although Penns Valley (5-6) outscored Clearfield (2-7) in the second quarter, a 15-5 run by Clearfield was enough to put the game out of reach early.
“We had a very slow start and we struggled,” Penns Valley coach Andrea Borland said. “We had several turnovers.”
