Published: January 15, 2013

— Lexi Josefik made two free throws with no time left in regulation, then Bald Eagle Area outscored DuBois in overtime to prevail 47-44 Monday night.

Marissa Ward and Kaitlyn Miller scored during the extra frame as BEA rallied after holding a 14-point lead at halftime.

“We have a tendency to get a big lead and relax,” BEA coach Troy Butterworth said. “We didn’t execute in the second half like we did in the first half.”

Ward led the Lady Eagles (10-1) with 14 points and three steals while Alli Simpson added 12 points, Miller grabbed 12 rebounds and Mary Pillot gave out five assists.

Cara Labrasca’s 27 points paced the Beavers (5-5).
