TURBOTVILLE — Penns Valley got off to a sluggish start and never recovered in a 41-32 loss to Warrior Run on Monday.
The Lady Rams (5-7) tallied just four first-quarter points and trailed the Defenders (6-5) 24-13 at halftime.
Karlie Ripka led Penns Valley with nine points while Ashley Struble, Kelsey Boone and Courtney Ironside added six points apiece.
Penns Valley hit just eight of 21 foul shots in the loss.
Foul shots hurt but the first quarter hurt us too, Penns Valley coach Andrea Borland said.
