HARMARSVILLE — Dalton Bown scored nine seconds into overtime to give State College a 3-2 win over Shaler on Monday night.
Stefan Horgas took the draw to open the five-minute extra frame and got the puck to Bown, who took the puck down the ice and beat Shaler goaltender Theodore Evans.
Luc Michael and Horgas netted the other goals for the Little Lions (6-6). Bown, Brendan Horgas, Adam Warfield and Jared Karas picked up the assists. Mac Ross made 25 saves in the win.
Ryan Fischerketter and Michael Klena scored Shalers goals.
State College hosts McDowell on Thursday.
