UNIVERSITY PARK — After posting her ninth NCAA B Cut time last weekend in a tri-meet at Arkansas and against Missouri State, senior Amy Modglin was named the Big Ten Womens Swimmer of the Week.
It is the fifth honor of her career and marks the first time this season that a Penn State womens swimmer has collected the weekly honor from the conference office.
Modglin came away with the 400 IM and 200 backstroke titles, wining the events in 4:19.36 and 1:56.98, respectively.
The senior also led a caravan of PSU swimmers that finished 2-3-4 in the 200 freestyle, touching in 1:49.58 to finish second.
