Boys basketball: State College tops Central Dauphin East

— Bryan Sekunda and Conner Shadle each scored six points in the final quarter as State College rallied to knock off Central Dauphin East 53-47 on Tuesday.

The Little Lions (10-3) trailed 36-35 entering the fourth quarter.

Shadle nailed a pair of 3-pointers and Sekunda sank all six of his free throw attempts in the period to key the rally.

Sekunda led the Little Lions with 20 points, while Kyle Kanaskie added 17. Joe Lamelle had 12 points for CD East, which went 9 for 19 from the foul line.

State College plays host to Carlisle on Friday.
