Recap: Ole Miss vs. Arkansas

Murphy Holloway and Reginald Buckner each posted double-doubles as the Ole Miss Rebels downed the Arkansas Razorbacks, 76-64, in an SEC conflict at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Holloway had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Buckner finished with 10 points to match 10 rebounds for Ole Miss (15-2, 4-0 SEc) which has won seven straight. Marshall Henderson had a team-high 16 points as well for the Rebels who also got 14 points from both Nick Williams and Jarvis Summers.

Marshawn Powell paced Arkansas (11-5, 2-2) with 16 points, B.J. Young added 14 and Hunter Mickelson tacked on 10. The Razorbacks had won seven of their previous eight contests.

The Rebels led 34-26 at the end of the first half despite shooting just 34.2 percent from the field while missing on all eight of its shots from the floor. The Razorbacks couldn't take advantage as they managed to shoot at just a 32.4 percent clip.

Both teams improved to 46.9 percent shooting in the second half but it was Ole Miss' 18-6 edge from 3-point range that helped the Rebels pull away for the win.

Ole Miss also got twice as many points from the free-throw line as Arkansas (14-7) in the contest.
