Man severely injured in forklift accident

A Woodward man was severely injured Friday morning while driving a forklift in Haines Township.

Christopher King, 18, was operating a forklift between farms at 7:15 a.m. Friday on Penns Valley Road when the vehicle left the shoulder and overturned. King was trapped by the vehicle and had to be freed by responders from Millheim and Miles and Gregg townships.

He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center with major injuries.
