PATTON — Bellefonte had its hands full with Cambria Heights’ big man Monday night, with Isaac Vescovi’s 35 points leading the Highlanders past the Red Raiders 73-49.
The 6-foot-5 Vescovi buried five 3-pointers as part of his high-scoring night.
“He was big but he could shoot and we couldn’t stop him tonight,” Red Raiders coach Darin Hazel said. “We just weren’t physically and mentally ready to play tonight.”
Nathan Bearer added 15 points for the Highlanders (9-6).
Tanner Light’s 15 points and Nick Grasser’s eight points led the Red Raiders (2-9).
