UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State’s Nikki Greene was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Tuesday.

It marks the first time Greene has won the award and the third time this season for a Lady Lion, following two awards for Lucas.

Greene averaged 15.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks while shooting 59.1 percent in wins against Wisconsin and Michigan over the last week, including a 23-point, 14-rebound effort against the Badgers.

The Lady Lions host Minnesota on Thursday.
