Girl's basketball: Altomare paces Lady Little Lions

Jenna Altomare missed the season’s first meeting between State College and Chambersburg with an illness, but came up big in the rematch as the Lady Little Lions dominated 64-37 Tuesday.

The senior scored 20 points while State College also received a significant boost from its second unit.

“We got 18 points off the bench tonight, which was a great contribution,” State College head coach Bethany Irwin said. “It really was an all-team effort tonight.”

Kyla Irwin scored 10 points and Bridget King netted eight.

State College will host Mifflin County on Friday.
