Four Centre County wrestling teams have qualified for the District 6 team wrestling tournament.
The opening round in Class AAA includes two rematches as No. 5 Philipsburg-Osceola visits No. 4 Bald Eagle Area and No. 6 Altoona visits No. 3 Bellefonte on Tuesday. Both meets begin at 7 p.m.
BEA defeated P-O 39-25 in an entertaining dual meet contested last Tuesday. Bellefonte defeated Altoona 39-33 in last weekends Red Raider Rumble.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled for next Saturday night at Tyrone. The BEA-P-O winner meets top-seeded Central Mountain. The Altoona-Bellefonte winner meets second-seeded Mifflin County.
Penns Valley earned the No. 5 seed in the 12-team Class AA duals.
The Rams meet No. 12 Penn Cambria at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Juniata. The winner faces fourth-seeded Juniata at 8 p.m. Penns Valley defeated Juniata 42-27 earlier this month.
The Class AA semifinals and finals are next Saturday morning and afternoon at Tyrone. West Branch, Huntingdon and Mount Union are the top three seeds.
