SUNBURY — Bald Eagle won the first six bouts on its way to a 43-25 victory over Shikellamy on Saturday.

Aaron Varner (195), David Gawryla (220) and Nate Sharkey (285) opened the meet with falls.

Cobey Bainey increased the lead to 21-0 with a 4-3 victory over Nick Gittens at 106. BEA’s Mike Kachik received a forfeit at 113 and Travis Giedroc expanded the lead to 31-0 by majoring Dylan Houseknecht 17-6 at 120.

Joe Powers (138) added a pin and Ben Verbitskey and Jake Taylor ended the meet with decision victories at 170 and 182, respectively. Verbitskey defeated Darryl Englehardt 10-4 and Taylor blanked Jesse Shambach 3-0.
