SPRING MILLS — Abby Showers scored 17 points and Brianna Rusnak added 15 on Thursday night as Philipsburg-Osceola took a commanding first-half lead en route to a 52-39 win over Penns Valley.

Showers hit all three 3-pointers in the game for the Lady Mounties (8-8), while Cheyenne Swartz led the Lady Rams (5-11) with 13. Karli Ripka added 10 for Penns Valley.

P-O plays host to Bald Eagle Area tonight.
