BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte earned its first win of the season by defeating Clearfield 42-27 on Friday.

Alexis Franks was high scorer for the Red Raiders, finishing the night with 15 points while Marissa Moriarta chipped in seven and Ally Steen added six.

“I was very happy for the girls that their hard work paid off,” Bellefonte coach Roger Herto said. “I really commend them for not giving up and keep on fighting.”

Bellefonte will host Central Mountain on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
