Boys basketball: Penns Valley tops Huntingdon

— Penns Valley defeated Huntingdon 56-43 on Friday night.

The Rams only had a two-point lead at halftime, but exploded in the third quarter to score 20 points and secure the win.

“I thought the boys gave a spirited effort,” Penns Valley coach Terry Glunt said. “We came out in the third quarter and created separation to hold on for a nice win.”

John Ott led Penns Valley in the win with 17 points, including a 3-pointer while Logan Johnson added 11 points and sank two 3-pointers for Penns Valley

Penns Valley plays host to Bald Eagle Area on Monday.
