Penn State men’s volleyball: Sixth-ranked Lions sweep Mount Olive

— No. 6 Penn State earned a 26-24, 25-22, 25-22 sweep of Mount Olive on Saturday night at Rec Hall’s South Gym.

Nick Goodell led the way with 13 kills on .632 hitting while Aaron and Peter Russell each added 11 kills. Taylor Hammond gave out 40 assists, Peter Russell also had eight digs and Matt Seifert posted five blocks.

The Nittany Lions (8-1), who host St. Francis on Friday, hit .379 with a 44-36 edge in kills and a 6-4 advantage in blocks. The Trojans hit .262.
