Cattle starve on Burnside Township farm, state police investigating

State police are investigating an animal cruelty case after they found beef cattle on a Burnside Township farm had starved.

Police said they found numerous beef cattle were deprived of food on a farm on Pine Glen Road, and that several died. The Department of Agriculture is also investigating.

Charges are pending in the case, according to police.
