Penn State women's ice hockey: Nittany Lions tie Lindenwood 3-3

Penn State’s eight-game losing streak came to an end, but the Nittany Lions could not break into the win column, tying Lindenwood 3-3 Saturday afternoon at the Greenberg Ice Pavilion.

Allysson Arcibal scored the game-tying goal with 42 seconds left in regulation.

Shannon Yoxheimer, Birdie Shaw and Jill Holdcroft each scored for the Nittany Lions (7-20-2, 1-13-2), with Holdcroft netting the go-ahead goal with five minutes left in regulation. It was her 10th goal of the season while Yoxheimer’s was her 13th.

Emily Laurenzi, Hannah Hoenshell, Jordin Pardoski and Jess Desorcie all picked up assists and Nicole Paniccia made 44 saves as Penn State was outshot 47-28.
