Penn State stayed undefeated on the season, winning all six singles matches and two of three doubles contests in a 7-0 defeat of Old Dominion on Sunday afternoon at the Sarni Indoor Tennis Center.

The outcome delivered the first shutout of the season for the Nittany Lions (5-0).

Jacqueline Zuhse, Devan McCluskey, Carmen Sandor, Sarah Henderson, Petra Januskova and Chelsea Utting all won their singles matches in straight sets.

In doubles, Zuhse and Katherine Whiteaway won their matches, as did the team of Sandor and McCluskey. The first doubles match with Januskova and Utting facing the Monarchs’ Diana Ivanova and Nikol Hristova was tied 6-6 when it was abandoned after Penn State secured the doubles point.

The Nittany Lions next meet Winthrop on Saturday.
