PARK RIDGE, Ill. Trevor Howard placed 19th in the all-around at the US Gymnastics Winter Cup over the weekend in Las Vegas and earned his fourth Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor on Monday.

Howard has been the rookie of the week in the conference each week this season. He was one of two freshmen to finish in the top 20 in Las Vegas with top-10 finishes in the floor exercise (tied for fifth), parallel bars (seventh) and vault (eighth) while placing 12th in the still rings.

Penn State visits Temple on Saturday.
