RICHMOND, Va. With a standout performance in his first collegiate contest, TJ Sanders was named Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Sanders scored four goals and added an assist in an 11-6 season-opening win over Michigan on Saturday. His goal total came on eight shots, giving him a .500 shooting percentage.

The Nittany Lions meet No. 9 Denver in Jacksonville, Fla., on Sunday.
