Dawn Wincek, CRNP, has joined Mount Nittany Physician Group’s internal medicine practice at 2520 Green Tech Drive.

Wincek, a Penn State graduate, received her master’s degree in health and human development as a nurse practitioner. She will be responsible for providing primary care service at the practice.

Wincek was a critical care clinical supervisor at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

An agent at L&S Travel in Centre Hall, was recognized recently by Sandals Resorts, the Luxury Included Vacation, as a top agent for her knowledge and performance in selling Luxury Included resorts.

Lindsay Smith was recognized among more than 400 agents worldwide at the 11th annual Star Awards ceremony in December.

Sandals Resorts created the Star Awards in 2002 as a way to recognize the top travel agencies selling Sandals.

Scott Phillips, an assistant professor of chemistry at Penn State, has received the Eli Lilly and Co. Young Investigator Award in analytical chemistry.

Phillips, who holds the Martarano career development professorship, specializes in organic and environmental chemistry, the design and synthesis of molecules with unique functions, analytical and bioanalytical chemistry and materials chemistry.

Phillips earned a doctorate degree in chemistry from the University of California at Berkeley in 2004 and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at California State University in San Bernardino in 1999.

Jill Lillie, of State College, is the new marketing director at Foxdale Village. She previously was the director of marketing at The Village at Penn State for more than 10 years. She was also an insurance broker for First Affiliated Insurance and an office manager and agent for Kissinger & Bryant Insurance for nearly 25 years,

Lillie has a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Penn State and a 2006 graduate of Leadership Centre County.
