The Nittany Lions were held to three hits by ETSU pitchers, with two from Taylor Skerpon. Griffin Kreig pitched five innings and allowed just one hit while striking out four to earn the win.

Steven Hill tossed six innings and was handed the loss, striking out five and giving up eight hits, two walks and four runs.

Clinton Freeman was 4-for-4 with a double, Derek Niesman was 3-for-4 with a homer and the Bucs collected 13 hits on the day.

The teams finish their three-game series Sunday afternoon.
