ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Penn State finished with a season-high team score in a 197.375-196.700 loss to No. 3 Michigan on Saturday.
The Nittany Lions amassed a 196.700 total, their highest mark since March 4, 2011 and the teams highest score on the road since 2007.
Sharaya Musser took second in the all-around at 39.525. Lexi Carroll had a 38.350 all-around total.
Madison Merriam won the vault with a 9.950 and Musser tied for second at 9.875. Musser took second on the balance beam with a 9.875, Samantha Musto was third in the uneven bars and Merriam tied for third in the floor exercise.
