LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Cassidy Bell and Macy Jones both homered and Penn State earned its second win of the season with a 10-2 victory over Missouri-Kansas City on Sunday to close play at the Troy Cox Classic.

Bell doubled and cracked a two-run homer, while Jones singled and belted a two-run shot as each plated three runs, Kailyn Johnson also had a pair of hits, Alyssa Sovereign doubled and Alyssa Renwick hit a triple for the Nittany Lions (2-3).

Jones and Jordan Wheatley combined to give up seven hits and two runs in the circle.

Penn State visits North Carolina next weekend for the Carolina Classic.
