Penn State women’s tennis: Lions top Marshall, stay unbeaten

— Penn State picked up a pair of weekend wins in West Virginia, knocking off Marshall 6-1 on Sunday after beating Winthrop 4-3 on Saturday.

The Nittany Lions (7-0) earned the doubles point on both days with wins for the teams of Petra Januskova and Chelsea Utting, and Carmen Sandor and Devan McCluskey.

Against Marshall, Utting, Januskova, McCluskey and Jacqueline Zuhse all earned wins in singles.

Against Winthrop, Januskova and Utting won their singles matches in straight sets and Zuhse prevailed in three sets for the deciding point.

Penn State will host West Virginia on Saturday.
